Auto-captioned files from YouTube into Kaltura

This is a workaround for getting auto-captioned files into Kaltura from YouTube until we have access to the built-in machined caption option inside Kaltura. 

 

  1. Download your uploaded video in Kaltura. 
     
  2. Upload your downloaded Kaltura to YouTube. 
     
  3. Then follow the video tutorial below to get auto-captioned file from YouTube and put them into Kaltura.
  4. You may want to remove your video from YouTube after getting your caption file, as it resides on a US server.
