Captions are not automatically enabled in Zoom by default. However, if you are using the Zoom Desktop Application, you can configure your settings to always show captions in every session. Please note this setting only applies when using the Zoom Desktop Application and the option is not available in the Zoom Web Application.
1. Open up the Zoom Desktop application and sign in.
2. Click on your initials from the top right corner and click Settings
4. On the left, click accessibility near the bottom.
5. Check off the Always show captions box.
6. Close the window and your done.
